		<description>Sorry this isn&#039;t totally what you are asking but I just wanted to tell you - I had my fringe straightened a couple of years ago, I don&#039;t know the product but it was definatly chemical and then wrapped in aluminium foil (like highlights).  Where it was put on my blonde highlights (which were more than 6 weeks old) it snapped off at the roots and looked terrible as it grew back.  The parts that weren&#039;t hi lighted were fine though after a couple of good conditioning treatments (like the poster before, it felt crispy straight after). I don&#039;t know if you can tell which treatment it was from the description - just be aware if you are doing it on coloured hair!  Sorry to be doom and gloom, like I said, the rest of the uncoloured hair was fine.</description>

		<description>From the sound of it the thermal one does more damage, i always feel my hair abit crispy when i straighten it using the highest temperature.
