How do you get recognized in the magic world
Sep 16th, 2009 by admin
Well,
This post is for all newbies out there who have started magic.
A child must learn the steps of the trick, the hand motions that go along with the trick and also the conversation to keep the audience’s attention and the level of suspense high.
I’ve done magic for quite a while but there aren’t many magic associated things in Florida. There is a convention coming up but its expensive. Any ideas? Thanks
Magic tricks for a Garden/ Lawn Party
Aug 19th, 2009 by admin
Hey all,
Let this post get benefited for some poor workers. Who knows they can become rich at anytime. I do magic often and sometimes for events. I was recently asked if I would be able to entertain at a lawn/ garden party. I was wondering what kind of magic I should do for this event.
Difficulty is not an issue, but the demonstrations can’t be too geared for stage performances, becasue this has to be fairly casual at the same time professional.
But, however, they can’t be too simple, like easy coin and card magic. They have to impress people, not prove I can go to Chapters and perform tricks from a $5.99 book. Any suggestions or ideas?
Good stick tricks to do on drum set
Apr 7th, 2009 by admin

Hello drum players,

Very good morning to all of you. You all know that I play drums very well. The irony is that, the only trick I know is spinning the drumstick. I should probably also want to be able to fake spin. One that I really want to learn is hitting the drum with a stick that’s spinning.

There cant be any other sound other than drum beats that makes your feet immediately tap on the floor, the moment you hear that. Drum beats have such a unique power in them. Even small children like drum beats and dance according to the beat.

Basically, I’m looking for tricks that you can consistently pull off in front of an audience; nothing crazy that would take years to get down.
