Difference between magic and a miracle

Sorry guys,
I have started to scratch my head for this simple question !
There are many different forms of magic that exists in the world. But my question is whether there exists any difference between magic and miracle ?
Julia Peculiar asked why Jesus didn’t just make wine from air rather than from water, since he’s so good at miracles. Many of you said that would be magic, not a miracle. Care to clarify?

What kind of magic calls for a black cat or kitten to have its tail cut off

If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t post here! I’m looking for informative answers only!

I only ask because I see a lot of black cats and kittens dead with their tails cut off. It have been rumored that there are some people into some kind of ‘magic’ in the area I’ve seen it.
