It was my maths teacher who taught me there are only 52 cards in deck. I used to oppose him by saying that there are more than 52 cards (including joker and blank cards). But there used to be a fight between me and my maths teacher at some times.

Some of these tricks are well known card tricks that many magicians have done. If you can pull these tricks off without your guests knowing what has happened then you can call the trick successful.
